Melissa Yuan-Innes (aka, Melissa Yi) joins hosts Mark and Joe to talk about A Grimm Night by Transcen|Dance Project, an interactive theatrical experience in which audiences are welcomed, masked and set free to explore a dance version of Grimm’s fairy tales.
Melissa writes fantasy, science fiction and thrillers, in addition to being a part-time emergency room doctor.
Melissa was so inspired by her experience with the interactive experience that she wanted to create her own theatre pieces.
The three discuss balancing day jobs with the process of creating art, fringe festivals in Canada, and “reverse catfishing.”
